Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.<\/li>\n<li>Add the flour and salt to the yeast mixture. Stir with a wooden spoon or your hands until a shaggy dough forms. Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil and knead gently in the bowl for 2-3 minutes until the dough comes together. It will be sticky.<\/li>\n<li>Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a damp cloth and let rise in a warm place for 1 to 1 1\/2 hours, or until doubled in size.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Prepare the pan:<\/strong> Drizzle 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil into a 9- or 10-inch cast iron skillet or oven-safe nonstick pan.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Shape the pizza:<\/strong> Gently deflate the risen dough and transfer it to the oiled pan. Using oiled hands, press the dough out to the edges of the pan. If it springs back, let it rest for 5-10 minutes, then continue pressing until it reaches the edges.<\/li>\n<li>Cover the pan loosely with plastic wrap or a damp cloth and let it rise for another 30 minutes to an hour, until visibly puffy.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Preheat oven and top pizza:<\/strong> While the dough is doing its second rise, preheat your oven to 475\u00b0F (245\u00b0C).<\/li>\n<li>Remove the cover from the dough. Spoon the pizza sauce over the dough, leaving a small border for the crust. Sprinkle evenly with mozzarella cheese and any other desired toppings.
