Date and Lemon Cupcakes

These cupcakes are made from the prune and banana cupcake recipe but I used Dates instead of prunes (see prune and banana cupcake recipe in the list on the left). I topped them off with lemon butter cream made from half butter to half icing sugar creamed together. I added the zest of lemon and a drop of juice. I spread lots on top of the cupcakes and topped off with a date, ones that have had the stones removed.
